Information for Owners of the Steel Structure
The owner of steel structures is obligated to maintain his structures properly according to the Czech construction law at number 283/2021 Sb. In case of any neglected maintenance, the owner shall be responsible for the possible damage. Inspection reports according to CSN 73 2604 - “Steel Structures - Inspections and maintenance of steel structures of buildings and civil engineering works” may serve as a proof of the correct maintenance. The inspections are required be performed with specified intervals by the authorized persons, i.e. the person obtained CKAIT authorization “statics and dynamics of structures” or “bridges and civil engineering works”.
